A man driving a pickup truck lost control and slammed into a fire station in Sandy, Utah, earlier today, January 15, 2009. According to KSL News, the truck hit the kitchen area of the fire house, which sent the countertop and other items flying. Fortunately, no one was in the kitchen area when the crash occurred. The driver, in his early 20’s, suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. The investigation continues as to why the truck left the road in the first place.
