Salt Lake City Car Accident Results in Visit to ER

A car accident in Salt Lake City Monday night, March 30, 2009, sent two Utah teens to the hospital with minor injuries. According to KSL News, Utah Highway Patrol Troopers say the driver of a Honda made a left turn in front of an oncoming Jeep at 2200 West and North Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The collision caused the passenger side of the red Honda to cave in. The teenagers involved in the crash are in fairly good condition despite the severity of the crash. Police did find alcohol in the car but at this point, do not suspect the driver was intoxicated. So far, no citation has been given but the driver will most likely be ticketed for failure to yield to the Jeep.
