According to KSL News, Utah Highway Patrol Troopers say the driver of a Honda made a left turn in front of an oncoming Jeep at 2200 West and North Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The collision caused the passenger side of the red Honda to cave in. The teenagers involved in the crash are in fairly good condition despite the severity of the crash. Police did find alcohol in the car but at this point, do not suspect the driver was intoxicated. So far, no citation has been given but the driver will most likely be ticketed for failure to yield to the Jeep.

According to the Salt Lake Tribune, the crash happened March 4, 2009, on State Road 40, just west of Gusher, Utah. From reports, one of the drivers, 48-year-old Timothy Reynolds of Vernal, Utah, crossed over into oncoming traffic in his Chevy Silverado pickup and collided head-on with a Dodge Ram pickup driven by 30-year-old Chad Parker of Provo, Utah. Reynolds was not wearing a seat belt at the time. Road conditions are not said to have been a factor in this fatal truck accident. Investigators are still said to be investigating the crash.
